BlueSpring is our human-delivered, AI-assisted career counseling program for private schools. It currently reaches about 20,000 students and is set to double to about 40,000 next year.
What we are looking for:
BlueSpring gives us trusted, recurring access to students and parents in private schools at the point where they are making major decisions about their futures. We are building a second revenue engine on this network, offering study abroad guidance, summer school programs and other global and experiential pathways. You will build this line from the ground up and be accountable for its revenue.
Responsibilities:
1. Portfolio and strategy
• Define and prioritise the offerings (study abroad guidance, summer schools, and later options such as pathway programs, test prep and campus immersions) by student segment, grade and school tier.
• Decide for each offering whether to build, partner or resell, and build pricing and unit economics for it.
• Set revenue targets and a 12–24 month roadmap with the Founder.
2. Partnerships
• Source, negotiate and manage partnerships with international universities, summer school operators, pathway providers and admissions agencies.
• Structure commercial models (commission, revenue share, co-branded or white-label) that protect iDC's credibility.
3. Go-to-market
• Design the funnel from school to parent: counselor touchpoints and career assessments leading to qualified study abroad and summer program conversations.
• Work with the BlueSpring sales team and school leadership to introduce these offerings without disrupting the core B2B sale.
• Plan and run parent-facing activations such as webinars, school-based info sessions, and WhatsApp and digital campaigns, in partnership with marketing.
4. Delivery and operations
• Build and lead an initial small team (admissions or program advisors, program coordinators) and grow it as volumes scale.
• Define the service model, including how human counselors and the AI Co-pilot support the student journey from discovery to enrolment.
• Set up lead tracking, CRM discipline, conversion dashboards and parent-experience standards.
5. Trust and governance
• Keep guidance student-first and transparent about commercial relationships, so monetisation does not erode the credibility of BlueSpring counseling.
• Ensure compliance and ethical counseling practices.
What Success Looks Like:
• A validated, prioritised portfolio and launch plan within 90 days.
• 2–3 anchor partnerships signed within 6 months.
• First revenue cohort (summer program or study abroad) closed in the first full cycle.
• Clear conversion benchmarks (school → parent lead → enrolment) and a repeatable playbook ready for the 40,000-student scale-up.
Skills:
• Entrepreneurial, with strong ownership
• Student-first and ethical
• Persuasive communicator with school leaders, parents and partners
• Collaborative across sales, counseling and product teams
What We Offer
• Intrapreneur role to lead and build this from scratch
• Distribution across a fast-scaling network of private schools
• A clear path to Associate-Director / Director as the line scales
Must have
• 6–10 years in education, edtech, international admissions, study abroad or K-12 programs, with at least 2–3 years leading a team or owning a revenue target.
• Track record of launching or scaling a B2C or B2B2C education product or program, with revenue to show for it.
• Working relationships with international universities, summer school providers or admissions agencies (or a demonstrated ability to build them quickly).
• Understanding of how Indian parents make high-value education decisions.
• Comfort with ambiguity and ownership: you can build the plan and the process, and also execute.
• Commercial skills: pricing, margins, channel economics and forecasting.
